What we do
We carry out investigations of sites of archaeological interest, broadly in the South Cambridgeshire area, by simple field walking, land surveying, and using geophysical techniques.
Principally we carry out resistivity and magnetometry surveys.
We attend community events and demonstrate our equipment to the public and interested groups. We foster an appreciation of our archaeological heritage in the local community as well as in the local schools. |
We produce pictures or plans on all sites for the local group involved within a few days of a survey.
We also submit a report to the local Historic Environment Record office (HER) when we reach an end point. (This is can be some time after the survey itself).
